Warranty Obligations

The main document regulating relationships between consumers of goods, services, and works, and manufacturers, sellers of goods, and setting consumer rights is the Law of Korea "On Consumer Rights Protection".

Here are some key concepts from this document:

Warranty Period - the period during which the manufacturer (seller, contractor, or any third party) assumes obligations to carry out free repair or replacement of the corresponding product in connection with its introduction into circulation;

Significant Defect - a defect that makes it impossible or unacceptable to use the product for its intended purpose, caused by the fault of the manufacturer (seller, contractor), reappears after its elimination for reasons beyond the consumer's control, and has at least one of the following signs:

a) it cannot be eliminated at all;

b) its elimination requires more than fourteen calendar days;

c) it makes the product substantially different from what is specified in the contract.

Defect - any non-compliance of the product with the requirements of regulatory legal acts, regulatory documents, contract conditions, or the requirements imposed on it, as well as the information about the product provided by the manufacturer (contractor, seller).

Return Conditions

Product returns are possible within 14 days from the date the ordered product is received by the buyer. The costs of returning the product are borne by the buyer. In the event of replacing a product of improper quality with a product of proper quality, the warranty conditions begin to take effect only after the buyer receives the product of proper quality.
